Job title:              Fixed Wire Testing Engineer
Salary:                 £45,000 OTE per annum (£38000 basic)
Location:             Reading
Job type:             Full Time, Permanent
Hours:   40 hours per week, whilst some days are 9am-5pm, others will require you to complete the work out of hours or occasionally at weekends.

Based on the South Coast, our client is a rapidly growing electrical compliance specialist offering PAT Testing, Fixed Wire Testing, Thermal Imaging, Emergency Light Testing and LED Installations.

Job description for Fixed Wire Testing Engineer
  • Conducting fixed wire testing and completing laptop based EICR reports, mainly for large commercial organisations
  • Complete emergency light testing and occasional remedial work.
  • Thermographic surveys (Full training will be provided)
  • All work to be completed in accordance with the 19th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Regular travel will be required within the South UK region.
Requirements for the Fixed Wire Testing Engineer
  • C&G 2391 or 2394/95
  • C&G 2360, 2330 (or equivalent) Level 3 in Electrical installations
  • 18th edition
  • Full current driving license
