£21,760 plus 12% uplift for working 6-2 or 24% uplift for working 21:00-06:00 (dependant on whether you want to work early shifts or late shifts) + Pension, Healthcare, 25days + benefits, Profit Share

A Global designer and manufacturer of products for the aerospace industry currently require the services of an experienced Fitter Machinist for their Tewkesbury site.

You will perform a range of operations on all types of components on machines and processes which include; manual honing and lapping, deburring, hydraulic nulling equipment and chemical deburr equipment.

You will have experience lapping and deburring and preferably honing but honing is not essential, you will also have worked to tight tolerances. You will have experience working from manufacturing documentation which includes plans, engineering processes and specifications.

You will be responsible for inspecting your own work so you must be able to use microscopes, height and depth equipment etc. and you will be observant for, and able to detect unusual conditions in the products, errors in documentation and defective material/parts.
