Job Title: Field Service Engineer - Commercial Vehicles Division
Location: Berkshire/M4 Corridor (Home and Customer Site Based)
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Role Overview: As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in providing support for our Commercial Vehicles Division, conducting diagnostics and repairs at customer and 3rd-party sites. Your responsibilities will include major unit exchanges, new product introductions, and collaboration with OEMs. This role demands adaptability, a positive mindset, and the ability to engage constructively with diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnostics and repairs at customer and 3rd-party sites.
  • Major unit exchanges and support to OEMs.
  • Collaboration with the sales team to increase awareness of product performance and drive growth.
  • Technical support and advice to sales colleagues.
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Liaising with Health & Safety and Field Service Managers.
  • Minimizing downtime of assets and adhering to H&S and Environmental guidelines.
Professional Experience & Education:
  • Completed engineering apprenticeship (minimum).
  • Level 5 qualification or higher preferred.
  • Mechatronics or multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias.
  • Background in field services and engineering.
  • Experience with electric vehicles and high voltage vehicle systems.
  • Working knowledge of zero-emission vehicles, electric drive/fuel cell.
  • Excellent diagnostic capabilities and good IT skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
Package Details:
  • Permanent Contract.
  • Monday to Thursday: 8 am to 5 pm, Friday: 8 am to 3:30 pm (41-hour working week).
  • Annual Bonus (pro rata on the year of joining).
  • 20 days holiday (pro rata on joining).
