TXM Recruit are working with transport business to recruit a Facilities Maintenance Contracts Manager, who will lead the operational and strategic management of the Hard & Soft services supply chain, to ensure full contractual compliance and delivery of planned and reactive maintenance for the station and property portfolio.

Role
  • Management of suppliers and contracts, including formal contract reviews
  • Achieve best value for money through management of contracts and suppliers
  • Improve performance and delivery of key suppliers, including the development of Key Performance Indicators for all relevant suppliers/contracts
  • Compliance with applicable legislation
  • Manage budgetary constraints in terms of contractor service delivery
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for staff and stakeholders managing their facility management needs and ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and service contracts.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to provide valuable insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships

Experience
  • Professional Qualification desired
  • Experience of property maintenance
  • Proven relationship building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Continuous improvement knowledge and experience
  • In-depth knowledge of SFG20 Standards and Statutory maintenance compliance obligations and Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice in property management desirable
  • Ability to manage a wide range of supplier relationships, from short term tactical relationships to long term strategic partnerships and build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Ability to identify and manage commercial risk. 
  • Experience of financial management, budget monitoring and control
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in the Hard & Soft facilities management industry, preferably in a customer facing role
