Role
- Management of suppliers and contracts, including formal contract reviews
- Achieve best value for money through management of contracts and suppliers
- Improve performance and delivery of key suppliers, including the development of Key Performance Indicators for all relevant suppliers/contracts
- Compliance with applicable legislation
- Manage budgetary constraints in terms of contractor service delivery
- Serve as the primary point of contact for staff and stakeholders managing their facility management needs and ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and service contracts.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to provide valuable insights and recommendations to stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships
Experience
- Professional Qualification desired
- Experience of property maintenance
- Proven relationship building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Continuous improvement knowledge and experience
- In-depth knowledge of SFG20 Standards and Statutory maintenance compliance obligations and Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice in property management desirable
- Ability to manage a wide range of supplier relationships, from short term tactical relationships to long term strategic partnerships and build and maintain strong working relationships
- Ability to identify and manage commercial risk.
- Experience of financial management, budget monitoring and control
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in the Hard & Soft facilities management industry, preferably in a customer facing role
