Engineering Manager – Cardiff

As a major project is due to start in South Wales and with this award-winning consultancy expanding their teams with some of the best talent in the industry, an experienced Engineering Manager is required to deliver the multi-disciplinary design packages of this 10-year project.

Based in a brand-new office in Cardiff, you will play an integral role within the internal design team, bringing together all disciplines whilst delivering the projects leading by the civils packages. Your varied background and ability to deliver an array of schemes will see you flourish, whilst working alongside the respective Engineering Managers of other disciplines including E&P, Telecoms, Signalling, Track and OLE.

Your proven experience will see you at the forefront of managing the team responsible for developing technically challenging design and the opportunity to work on a variety of schemes including station upgrades, ancillary civils, bridge reconstructions and more.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Principal Engineer looking for the next step up, with a salary on offer upwards of £60k plus package including bonus, holidays, pension, healthcare and more.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering
• Experience of rail civil engineering design – e.g. bridges, drainage, platforms, ancillary civils.
• Chartered Civil Engineer
• Able to undertake CRE and CEM duties
