Overview
We require an Electromechanical Design Engineer to join our F1client. The successful candidate will be involved in the design of the mechanical aspects of various electronic assemblies and packaging of on vehicle electrical installation.
Duties
The scope of work will include; generating efficient CAD schemes for electrical harnesses and enclosures, producing both assembly drawings and technical drawings for mechanical and composite components along with required tooling.
Skills & Requirements
· An excellent degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Motorsport engineering.
· Be able to demonstrate an innovative, practical approach to problem solving with a high attention to detail.
· Be highly motivated with the ability to work to a demanding schedule and thrive under pressure.
· Extensive experienced in using Catia is essential
· Previous design experience in a similar role highly desirable.
· An understanding of GD & T would be highly advantageous.
