Abingdon + up to 50% international travel
£50,000 + allowances & bonus
TXM are supporting a leading FMCG manufacturer as they look to add an Electrical Project Engineer to the team. As a business they are a global brand supplying into numerous markets. You will be based at their R&D facility predominantly and will be required to travel internationally to help support the commissioning of new facilities.
The international travel element of the role is typically 40%-50% of the time and in a maximum of 6-week blocks. Helping to support the commissioning of new plants and existing site upgrades.
Electrical Project Engineer Responsibilities:
- PLC control system design and programming.
- HMI design and programming.
- Electrical panel design, installation and commissioning.
- Preparation of production line control designs and documentation.
- Monitoring supplier/contractor work whilst on site.
- Responding to technical queries.
- Training operational members of staff.
- Qualified to a minimum ONC level.
- Modification/Programming/Commissioning experience on PLC systems – preferably Allen Bradley systems.
- HMI design and programming.
- Designed, built and commissioning electrical panels.
- Worked within an FMCG environment – packaging, food, beverages, pharmaceutical.
