A leading engineering services provider is looking for a seasoned Electrical Design Engineer to support the development and execution of advanced electrical systems for industrial environments. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of complex projects and see them through from concept to commissioning.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and develop electrical equipment and control systems for industrial applications.
- Oversee fabrication, testing, and installation of systems including motors, transformers, power distribution units, and control devices.
- Lead on-site start-ups and ensure installations meet project specifications and customer requirements.
- Produce detailed electrical drawing packages, including schematics, layouts, and bills of materials.
- Develop and debug PLC programs and manage communication networks.
- Collaborate with estimation and project teams to define project scopes and schedules.
What You Bring:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering (required).
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with electrical wire way systems and industrial equipment a plus.
- Strong grasp of P&IDs, mechanical systems, and safety standards.
- Exceptional problem-solving, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 30% and work in a variety of environments, including global field installations.
