We have a new opportunity for an experienced Dyno/Test Technician to join a leading F1 company based in Northamptonshire on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Powertrain Dyno Team Leader, the main responsibility of this role is the installation, operation and maintenance of our Transmission Dyno test cell.

Other key responsibilities and duties of this role are;
o Responsible for the overall correct installation of the Unit Under Test (UUT) onto the dyno
o Operation of the test console in line with dyno procedures
o Maintenance of the dyno system hardware, including liaising with external contractors
o Contribute towards the long-term development of the dyno facility
o Reporting of faults and contribution to the resolution of dyno related issues
o Develop a working knowledge of the dyno control systems
o Maintain excellent housekeeping standards at all times
o Actively lead best practice with regards to safety within the test cell

To be successful in this role you will need to have previous dyno, or similar test bed experience and previous experience in a motorsport test or trackside environment. A good practical knowledge of gearbox and hydraulic systems would also be ideal but is not essential.
