Aerospace giant in Gloucestershire
TXM Recruit are currently working with a leading Aerospace company based in Gloucestershire, who are looking to bring in a Design Engineer to work across both Military and Commercial projects.
This is a great opportunity to join a company that will allow you to develop and grow technically and that will give you the freedom to follow your own ideas, make your own mistakes and push yourself and the companies engineering forward.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Get involved in all aspects of the design process from concept all the way through to delivery.
- Work alongside a variety if internal stakeholders to verify bids,
- Design a variety of components in NX Unigraphics.
- Work in a customer facing capacity to ensure bids are managed correctly.
- Manage drawing quality through GD&T.
- Good background in Mechanical Design ideally within the aerospace industry.
- Good working knowledge of NX Unigraphics
- Strong understanding of GD&T, Hand calcs and other engineering fundamentals.
- Good team orientated attitude. .
