As a Depot Manager, you'll have the opportunity to implement innovative changes, driving improvements in safety, efficiency, and overall performance, and we're looking for a Depot Manager with a background in Rolling Stock management, railway vehicle engineering, and production.
 
This senior position requires a confident and collaborative leader with the credibility to drive change effectively. Your responsibilities will encompass leading, managing, motivating, and energising both the depot leadership team and its workforce.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Meet quality and performance targets for servicing, maintenance, and repairs of traction and rolling stock.
Develop and drive specific depot projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Focus on improving safety culture performance across the centre.
Work towards increased fleet reliability and availability.
Build and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Implement performance-driven changes to the depot’s organisational structure.
 
Qualifications and Skills:
Background in rail depot management.
Experience in railway vehicle engineering and production management.
Engineering degree.
NEBOSH Certificate.
Managerial qualifications (preferred).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
