TXM Recruit are looking for a Data Protection Manager for one of the leading UK Train Operating Companies in the UK to manage data protection strategy across the business. This is a contracting role OUTSIDE IR35 on a 3 - 6 month contract.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring full legal compliance
  • Implementing data management strategies to securely process large volumes of customer and colleague sensitive data
  • Holding business functions to account to ensure the company is meeting it's obligations with safeguarding all data
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across all levels of seniority, including Data Protection Champions to ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Conducting company-wide risk assessments on data protection compliance at appropriate intervals, but at least annually.
Role Requirements:
  • Experience in implementing data protection policies and procedures
  • Commercial and business awareness of large companies
  • Great GDPR and legislative knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to influence at all levels
