TXM Recruit FMCG are partnering with a global FMCG business on a varied position, combining commissioning, technical training and business improvements for Packaging Printer equipment.
This is an excellent time to join an international business who continue to grow and make significant investments in site upgrades and new plants, operating within a thriving industry that has excellent growth forecasts for years to come.
Responsibilities:
This will be a versatile role acting as a process expert & subject matter expert for printer equipment and their integration to new lines, line conversions and new plants start-ups as per the agreed start-up schedules and curves.
You will be managing the process of commissioning the new printers, to then creating operating processes, to then managing the ongoing best practice & training in the use of Printer equipment (by the Technical Operators and Maintenance Engineers).
Key areas of focus will be efficiency and Spoilage for all Printer equipment- Working with Plant Managers, Operations and Heads of Department.
Experience:
- 5 years + with operating or maintenance of Packaging Printer equipment
- Have used lean methodologies or problem-solving techniques.
- Leading teams or project management- engaging staff members and creating ‘buy-in’.
Qualifications:
Engineering degree or Apprentice trained within and engineering or manufacturing discipline
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary £50,000-60,000
- Bonus 7.5%
- Private Healthcare & Life Assurance
- Multi-site position travel of 70%+ to plants within the UK & Europe.
