TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation on an exciting new project in London. They are looking for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to become part of an ever expanding and skilled team on a permanent basis.

The objective is to carry out fault finding, diagnostics and servicing on commercial boilers and water heaters across underground stations. The successful candidate must have gas boiler installation and commissioning certification experience.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Undertake planned maintenance activities and asset servicing ensuring all checks and tasks are completed satisfactorily.
  • Carry out repairs and rectification of faults and minor works as required to return assets to service.
  • Carry out installations, asset replacements and minor works as required.
  • Communicate works progress to the Piped Services Supervisor regularly and maintain contract to ensure all works are completed within the desired time frame.
  • Review all service and report documentation for accuracy.
  • Undertake PPM activity in a quality, professional manner.
  • Production of technical and situational reports as required.
  • Proactively use the technology systems given to you so that the Company can be always compliant with its contractual obligations.
  • To always communicate clearly and effectively with the rest of the team and clients

Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Pay: Up to £59,000 dependent on experience. Van and fuel card provided.

 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within a similar role
  • London underground experience is desirable
  • Rail experience is advantageous
  • Full UK Driver's Licence
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 and/or 3: Commercial and Domestic Gas
  • Knowledge of Hot Water Systems, L8/Legionella, and Water Regs
  • F Gas is desirable
