CNC Turner Programmer / Setter / Operator (NIGHTSHIFT)

Position: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £38,000.00 to £44,000.00 /year Experience:

Hours of work: 40 hrs per week

Days of work: Mon-Thurs

Overtime: Available, regular Location: Bicester, Oxfordshire Benefits: Up to 25 days holiday, Workplace pension, Individual Performance Bonus, Onsite Parking, and Regular overtime.

Job Summary:

This organisation are seeking experienced CNC machinists to join the team who are able to program, set and operate lathes and milling machines. The successful applicants will be required to read technical drawings which you will program, set and complete jobs to the high standards that we have set. You will be using modern equipment to produce small to medium batch size orders in a variety of materials assisted by CAD/CAM. With the support of a well-equipped inspection department and other highly skilled team mates by your side, you will enjoy having everything you need to get the job done! Qualifications & Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Demonstrate a sound knowledge of work holding, tool selection, speed & feeds, quality awareness and time management. Experienced in using CAD/CAM (development and training can be provided) Be competent in FANUC controls (Lathes), Maintain a clean and safe environment Work to tight deadlines At times, be able to work ?lone wolf? under pressure To have a flexible approach Conclusion: SRD Engineering LTD offers a great work environment, with an extremely friendly atmosphere.
