TXM Recruit are excited to announce an opportunity working as a Business Development Manager, working with a global Manufacturing and Logistics company.

Role overview

This role will take responsibility for the sales growth of Our client. You will be required to work collaboratively with teams from across our clients businesses to ensure targets for sales, profit and growth are met.

You will be accountable for:

  • Maintaining and developing sales, profit and growth for our clients Engineering Customers.
  • Understanding, articulating, and selling our clients Engineering propositions with their customers.
  • Identifying and converting Business Development opportunities across your sector.
  • Identifying and managing sales forecasts for your customers/sector
 
Qualifications & Education
 
A minimum of degree level would ideally be required to operate at this level. Candidates without a degree will be considered but must have the experience and proven ability as detailed below. You will need to have demonstrative professional vocational qualifications in sales/commercial techniques.
 
Experience & Proven Ability Required
  • General management experience in a multi-site, multi-industry engineering company
  • Proven experience of developing and implementing sales strategies
  • Demonstrable business development and relationship management experience.
  • Excellent commercial knowledge and application
  • Strong knowledge of our client’s culture and a willingness to lead/coach its implementation
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work without strong guidance in line with our clients Company procedures, delegated authority levels utilizing a strong moral compass of situational judgment.
