We are collaborating with this world-renowned business working within the Automotive and F1 sectors. They are looking to engage Wiring Technicians to work within the electronics department and support their growing business portfolio of existing and new client projects.

As a wiring technician you will be responsible for the manufacture, test, inspection and servicing of production and prototype wiring looms, sensors and actuators across all projects and test installations as required. You will fault find and repair wiring looms, electromechanical actuators, sensors and sensor harnesses. There will also be the need for some basic mechanical fitting and assembly.

There will also be close liaison with relevant Project Engineers to ensure that wiring, sensor and actuator installations are correctly detailed and manufactured.

To achieve these goals, you will need to be fully conversant with wiring harness assembly to military specifications, the use of Deutsch Auto-Sport or equivalent connectors and Raychem products. An electronic technician qualification to ONC/HNC level would be highly desirable.

You will need to be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft word/excel. MRP experience would also be a distinct advantage.
