£60,000-£65,000 + car allowance & bonus
TXM Recruit are partnering with a large multi-national FMCG business who are searching for a newly created position of UK Microbiology Manager. This will be a key role within the UK Quality & Food Safety operation- to lead on improvements and consistent best practice for Microbiology across 5 impressive & large-scale plants in the UK.
As UK Microbiology Manager, within this very successful business, you will enjoy the benefits of having a strong platform from the regular investments & latest technologies on the sites, as well as the support of experienced microbiologists and food safety professionals at each site.
Previous experience:
- Previous management of Microbiology departments
- Experienced in managing microbiology within production and engineering environments, i.e., beyond just the lab environment, with the skills to create buy-in, best practice & adherence from other departments.
- Experienced within the FMCG markets, ideally testing and sampling for filling equipment, filling lines and pipework.
Degree Educated within a scientific discipline: Microbiology, Biology, Biological Sciences or Chemistry for example.
2 days from home + 3 days at site
Salary & Benefits:
£60,000- £65,000
8% bonus
