TXM Recruit are looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join the worlds leading design & manufacturing LED lighting systems suppliers to the Automotive industry.

Working on products for some of the biggest OEMs within the Automotive industry the client are looking for a Test Engineer to join their Design team on a rolling contract basis.

As a Test Engineer you will mainly be responsible for conducting DVP test programs to validate new automotive lighting products to customer test specifications. You will also be required to setup, monitoring and analysis of environmental tests – constant temperature, temperature cycle, humidity, thermal shock, corrosion, dust and water spray and setup, monitoring and analysis of mechanical tests – random vibration, mechanical shock. 

• On-going contract
• Competitive Hourly Rate
• 37 Hours a week Monday - Friday

To be successful in this role you will ideally be educated to a minimum of HND/HNC level in a relevant engineering or scientific subject and have some prior experience of working in a Test Engineer role within a similar industry or environment. 

You will also need to be self-motivated to produce high quality work and complete tasks within deadlines and have the ability to organise and effectively record testing activities and results.
