£28,000-£35,000 per annum depending on experience + benefits

A manufacture of high precision, high performance rocket engines & thrusters for the space industry are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in engineering to fulfil the role of Test Engineer.

This role will initially be focussed on the testing and analysis of data, however, there will be involvement in design and development further down the line.

The successful Test Engineer will be responsible for the following; The safe management and handling of hazardous chemicals, the operation of rocket test facilities in a safe and precise manner to critically assess the quality of the rocket engines, you will be working with medium to high pressure gas systems and will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of the test facilities in a controlled and safe manner.

Knowledge of cleanliness and operational procedures related to running test facilities is advantageous. You can either be a graduate who has 1 years’ experience testing and analysing the data and if you have worked in a clean room environment, that would be beneficial, or you can be an experienced Test Engineer with a background in mechanical, aerospace, motorsport or engineering. Experience collating and analysing test data, using Microsoft Excel, LabVIEW, MATLAB would also be an advantage.

You will be degree qualified in a Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
