A leading aerospace manufacturer is looking for an experienced Configuration and Design Office Manager to join their team in Central Bedfordshire.
The role
" You will have responsibility for technical authority within the product line, providing support to the CoE Manager for identification and driving priorities through technical roadmaps
" Accountable for the product integrity during the whole life cycle
" Strategically analyses the market, customer needs, trends and competition
" During the bid phase, you will validate the tender compliance to product policy / architecture, guarantees the product suitability to customer technical & economical expectations.
" You are the technical authority in coordination with the lead engineer and technical audit function
" Close coordination with project lead engineer to detect and mitigate risks of divergence with product line technical roadmap
The successful candidate will have the following skills;
" Recognised technical authority on their product line, covering full life cycle
" Strong communicator
" Experience of matrix management
" Excellent planning and communication skills
" Ability to influence others
" Change management facilitator
