I am looking for a number of Stores Operatives for an immediate start to support my clients continued growth.
The role is responsible for all aspects of product movement within this busy manufacturing facility.
As a Stores Operative you will support the manufacturing of components on site and assist in packing and dispatch preparation to customer specification.
This position is an important visual inspection of parts as they arrive into the business and before they leave for the customer. You will be expected to identify substandard parts by questioning, reviewing, and resolving issues to adhere to the documented standards.
You will be carrying out regular stock checks and keeping the companies computer management system (MRP) fully updated as well as booking parts in and out of stock, picking parts for works orders and advising on shortages when they arise. You will also be tasked with contacting suppliers in regard to purchase order chasing.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a good team player with excellent communication skills and with a high attention to detail.
They require you to have a minimum 2 years manufacturing experience and be able to work from clear work instructions and a production environment would be of huge advantage. I am looking for a number of different hours so you must be able to cover various shift patterns and hold a full clean UK driving license.
