Senior Quality Engineer

Location: Guildford

We are working in partnership with this world leading Design & Manufacturing business operating in the Automotive and Aerospace sectors and are looking to engage with a Senior Quality Engineer. As the Senior Quality Engineer, you will ensure that their Quality standards meet both customer and legislation requirements.

You will be responsible for maintaining the quality system as well as auditing it and author Quality Management Plans to customer requirements. You will perform fault analysis and action NCR’s that occur during manufacture and in service. The Senior Quality Engineer will also ensure that corrective actions resulting from recorded non-conformance in the system or the product are implemented. Responsibility for Vendor / Sub-contractor Assessment & Approval sits within the remit of the Senior Quality Engineer to resolve issues with non-compliant parts and liaising with and audit suppliers to ensure requirements for Quality and delivery are met. The successful candidate will liaise with the Customers Quality Assurance Representatives and sign off CofC • Liaising with.
 

We would expect you to have several years’ experience in a senior position working to industry regulations such as ISO9001. You will have a degree or equivalent, and an engineering related discipline is preferred. Excellent communication skills are a must to ensure liaising and communicating with vendors and internal departments is seamless. This role also requires practical experience with risk management, product testing, capability studies, and control plans.
