TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award winning organisation. They are expanding and are looking for Senior Project Manager - Passive Fire  to join their team located in Birmingham.

Your duties will consist of managing the Fire door works remedial programme and ensuring dilapidation surveys and handover surveys are suitably undertaken to ensure design requirements from original construction plans are adhered to as well as contractual elements. The successful candidate will be required to establish excellent working relationships with the existing team, clients and construction contractors and any potential sub contractors. Experience within a contractual, KPI driven environment and exposure to complex health care facilities are a pre-requisite to the role.

Role Requirements

  • Act as the a liaison with the trust, client team and construction company
  • Co-ordinate passive fire 
  • Protection remedial work and misting systems works 
  • Manage Fire doors works remedial programme 
  • Reviewing and inputting into the relevant service delivery plans 
  • Ensure Dilapidation surveys and handover surveys are suitable undertaken to ensure design requirements are adhered to 
  • Arrange isolation's where required
  • Working with AP's on Site 
  • Manage and co-ordinate direct employed labour and sub-contractors in all aspects of the passive Fire Protection work 
  • Review RAMs & proposals for each area 
  • Make sure project risks are identified and managed through effective mitigation measures 
  • Act as a point of contact, managing relationships with all stakeholders, consultants and service providers with an emphasis on client satisfaction and business excellence

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must have Electrical experience within a PFI Health care environment 
  • ONC or BTEC NVQ Level 3 in relevant discipline 
  • Knowledge of the Health and Safety at work act; Construction Design and Management Regulations 
  • Experience in operating in the public or private FM sector with track record of directly managing capital works within a large and complex estate
