TXM Recruit are looking for a Senior Buyer on a permanent based in Doncaster working for a large engineering firm. In return a salary of up to £35,000 dependent on experience with some great opportunities to grow within the business.
Senior Buyer Job Description:
· Managing medium sized companies and their portfolios under direction of the category manager.
· Responsible for managing of a variety of supplier categories - circa £10 million.
· Working closely with the category manager you will developing, approving, implementing, and reviewing a supplier development plan across your own portfolio of clients.
· Identify and implement cost savings in line with business goals and objectives for your portfolio of suppliers.
· Ensure accurate maintenance of SAP master data for your portfolio of suppliers to ensure timely bid responses to meet customer deadlines and to maximise new business winning opportunities and growth.
· Prepare and undertake Supplier Engagement meetings reviewing Q,C,D to improve business competitiveness and customer service, acting as Supplier Champion for suppliers in own portfolio.
