TXM Recruit are supporting a manufacturing business in Northampton to recruit Sales Customer Service Aftermarket Specialist

 

Who will you be working with?

Based in Northampton, this role will report directly to the Customer Service Supervisor, but also supporting the Key Account Managers within the sales org.

 

How will you make a difference?

The right candidate will be a proactive team player, to support the demands of Aftermarket fast-paced enquiries. They will be part of a team working to develop the sales growth for Wabtec’s largest customers as well as new customers.

 

What do we want to know about you?

Knowledge of Oracle, both viewing and processing is essential.

Knowledge of Oracle / Design bill of material structuring.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with aptitude in building relationships at all organisation levels both internally and externally

Strong organisational and Microsoft Office computer skills, with attention to detail

Self-motivated team player with a positive can-do attitude

 

What will your typical day look like?

The weekly routine will consist of

  • Creation of Sales / Aftermarket reports (shared to the sales leadership)
  • Management of customer accounts within Oracle
  • Responding to customer enquiries
  • Creation of quotations, order input and following the orders through to point of dispatch.
  • Enquiry follow ups with customers to check on status.
  • Creation of Aftermarket spares listings for existing and new customers
  • Proactively work alongside the customer service and account management team to develop strategies with the goal of achieving increased aftermarket sales revenue.
  • Support other sales administration functions during holiday periods (this may include occasional bank holiday working hours, time off in lieu)
