TXM Recruit is in search of a Safety & Approvals Engineer to join a large rolling stock manufacturer based in London on a contract basis!

Qualified applicants for this role would require the below:

• Be able to produce and demonstrate compliance
• The ability to produce test reports
• Engineering/Manufacturing based degree is desirable
• Able to travel internationally as and when required
• Have experience working within a rail or rolling stock in an approvals and safety background as well as test/ design knowledge within the industry

Main duties/responsibilities:

• You will be reporting into the Compliance manager within the UK projects team
• Dealings with overseas suppliers and colleagues
• Writing of strategy/ safety/ safety case docs
• Lead and ensure conforming standards within the team to do with contractual agreements and submissions
• Looking at how trains and substations should be built
• Continuous improvement

Job details:

• 6 month contract
• £400-£450 per day
• Mon-Fri office hours (40 hours per week)
