Reliability Engineer
£40,000 - £44,000 + 10 % bonus & vehicle

TXM are currently partnering with a leading business within their particular machinery specialism in the FMCG industry – a high demand and volume industry. With continued investment into their product offering in line with company growth, they are looking to add a Reliability & Development Engineer into their Operational Excellence team.

 

This role will be a varied role, with 2 days a week from their workshop in High Wycombe and the rest being field based, Monday – Friday days.

 

The salary ranges from £40,000 - £44,000 DOE, a 10% company and individual performance related bonus, 25 days holiday + banks, up to 10% matched pension, BUPA life cover, company car and other flexible benefits.

 

Reliability Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Involved in the continued review, analysis and development of electromechanical machinery, encompassing associated touch screen interfaces, software and hardware.
  • Working cross functionally with product development teams at testing and trialling phases – this could be new components, equipment or machinery.
  • Leadership on field trials – initiating and reviewing trials to validate new designs or modifications.
  • Identifying areas to continually improve machinery efficiency and reliability – use of lean methodologies.
  • Data analysis, identifying trends and creating solutions.
  • Providing technical support to field operations team.
Experience Required:

  • HNCRelevant level 3 engineering qualification.
  • Proven ability to increase/improve machine efficiency and reliability across electromechanical machinery.
  • Involved in testing and trialling of equipment/machinery.
  • Strong data analysis skillset – ability to identify trends and problem solve off the back of it.
  • Seeing ideas through from concept to commissioning with ability to communicate this to stakeholders.
