These very successful M&E subcontractor are growing with no signs of them slowing down. Due to growth and a full workbook for 2018 they have an opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their successful team based in Northampton.
Reporting into the Director, this role will see you assist in controlling various commercial aspects of the contracts as well as maximising profit and controlling costs.
You will be assisting with the negotiation of sub-contractors, preparing sub contract orders, variations and carrying out weekly cost and value reports.
Previous experience working on M&E contracts would be desirable however for the right person not essential. You will be commercial savvy with a strong knowledge of managing construction projects and contract awareness. You will also have strong communication skills and have the ability to develop relationships.
