QUALITY ENGINEER

Location:           Milton Keynes

Salary:             £35 - £45,000 per annum

Are you a Quality Engineer with customer facing experience? We are working with this world renowned Automotive, Motorsport and Aerospace manufacturer to secure a Quality Engineer for their manufacturing facility.

We are looking to secure a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis with experience in

• Automotive PPAPs
• Using Quality tools (8D, 5Why, Ishikawa, etc)
• Working knowledge of GD&T
• Experience of manufacturing metrology equipment including CMMs
• Exposure to CNC Machining
• Statistical analysis tools such as Gauge RnRs, Capability analyses and comparison tests etc

If you have experience in the above – this could be the next role for you! This is a great opportunity for a well-rounded, manufacturing Quality Engineer to secure a key role looking at both Quality issues and resolving them   with known quality tools. You will also be responsible for:

• Data collection and collation as well as defining inspection criteria
• Lineside quality improvement activities
• Data driven improvement activities in response to internal quality gate findings including conducting root cause analysis, countermeasure implementation and auditing
• Management of internal quality KPIs and metrics
• Conducting internal quarantine and scrap reviews
• Planning and Managing PPAP activities
• Customer Liaison on new/existing projects & management quality concerns
• Performing system, process and part audits
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices
• Raising and management of concessions and the concession system
• Process Auditing and improvement
