As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of projects through the complete product lifecycle, on time and to agreed budget.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Working with the key stakeholders (internal & external), responsible for forming project teams as required
Working closely with the programme's Chief Engineer throughout, you will be responsible for gathering the technical requirements for each project, considering & reporting the impact on project targets and deliverables
Responsible for clearly defining the project's targets/deliverables and co-ordination of tasks (resources and capacity) derived from each project specification
Working with Department Heads & Managers to identify project resource and capacity exceptions & find resolutions
Responsible for the on time, on budget delivery of projects
Maintain flow of communication of project progress to client(s) and to relevant departments, including flow of communication into production
Responsible for the chairing of project management meetings & reporting the outcomes
To be successful in this role you will need to have proven project management experience within an engineering project/company along with a good level of technical and engineering understanding, Motorsport &/or Aerospace experience is preferable. Experience of Project Management & Reporting Systems & Project Planning Tools such as MS Project is also required.
The successful candidate will need to be confident and competent in all aspects of their job and be capable of a high standard of work, self-motivated, flexible with a 'can do' attitude and able to meet tight deadlines.
