Formula 1 Team Based in Oxfordshire
TXM are currently working with this well renowned Formula 1 team based in Oxfordshire. This is a name that is completely synonymous with Racing and has a rich and incredibly successful history.
The role will lead the high functioning procurement group. You will be responsible for the entire procurement process across all direct procurement activities, whilst leading the team and representing the business as a leader both internally and externally . This is a permanent role that comes with a very good salary and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
- Take responsibility for and manage all procurement strategies.
- Be a leading example of supplier relationship management.
- Take an active interest in cost saving and improving the quality of procured materials and components.
- Liaise with budget holders to ensure all expectations are met.
- Strive to achieve all strategic aims and objectives laid out to the procurement group.
- Support and motivate the team to create a "best possible result" culture.
- Take responsibility for all procurement performance metrics.
- Have at least 3-5 years of proven experience leading a procurement function within Motorsport or Formula 1.
- Be completely results driven.
- MCIPS qualified would be ideal.
- Exposure to a number of procurement functions.
