Print Technical Manager
£38,000 + 10% bonus

TXM are partnering with a long-standing & international packaging business on their search for a newly created Print Technical Manager position- which will take the lead as the site builds towards centre of excellence status for printing and reprographics with their UK operations.

As Print Technical Manager you will directly manage 3 people for reprographics, as well as have Printers on the production shifts as indirect reports.

Your areas of focus will be to:
- Continue to identify opportunities for new machinery and best practice
- Implement  improved methods for better quality & effciencies for colouring and artwork
- Identifying streamlining/ lean opportunities for the colour production and supplier arrangements
- Manage pre-press
- Support production quality and efficiency

You will work with customers to understand their requirements as well as working closely with suppliers on machinery requirements and materials (inks/colours).

- Previous Print and Packaging experience- flexible on backgrounds/ packaging materials
- Ideally you will have experience with reprographics already.
- Previous experience of managing or supervising teams or projects

Salary & Benefits:
- £40,000 salary
- 10% bonus
- 25 days holiday
