TXM Recruit are working exclusively with a key client to recruit a number of Operations Manager over a few locations across the UK. Our client is the UK’s only train operating company dedicated to operating trains on behalf of the rolling stock engineering, train manufacturing, and leasing sectors. They also operate trains on behalf of the train operating community. Our clients train operation is dynamic, expanding and traverses the entire UK rail network. They operate a vast range of traction and rolling stock.

The people who drive our clients trains are Operations Managers (OMs). OMs are part of our clients management team who, on occasions, undertake other managerial responsibilities. This dynamic and somewhat demanding role is rewarded by a competitive salary.

The ideal candidate for this role will be highly motivated to learn new things and become involved in new and exciting projects, be willing to respond real-time to changes to our train plans, undertake certain managerial duties, take responsibility for the real-time engagement with customers and become a true ambassador for one of the most respected and professional companies in the UK rail industry.

I am looking for people who have a mainline EU train driver license who have either been a mentor driver, assessor, train driver manager or instructor and can use their extensive railway knowledge to deliver to the clients needs in an effective manner.

We are currently seeking candidates with the following qualifications;

Full UK or European Train Driving Licence

Mainline (Network Rail) train driving experience

A1, D32 (Desirable)
