OLE Design Engineer

Due to continued success, a market-dominating consultancy have taken the reigns on delivering a plethora of rail electrification projects, resulting in opportunities for experienced OLE Design Engineers to join the team in Birmingham.

The Birmingham office of this award-winning consultancy is the heart and soul of their rail division, compromising of state-of-the-art facilities as well as experts from all disciplines working collectively on some of the industry’s biggest projects.

You will work in partnership with the other OLE teams in the North, whilst also interfacing with all disciplines on the projects. You can expect to be involved in both early and later GRIP stages, with opportunities to see projects through from inception to completion.

You proven experience and knowledge of OLE design will see you play a fundamental part in delivering these complex engineering schemes, resulting in further project success and career development for you – is this the challenge you’ve been looking for?

The ideal candidate can expect a salary of £30k - £40k depending on level and experience, plus package including pension, holidays and healthcare.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or alternative relevant discipline
• Proficient experience of rail overhead line design (structures not electrical)
