TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation on an exciting new project in Crawley . They are looking for an experienced Mobile AC Engineer to become part of an ever expanding and skilled team.

The primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance on a wide variety of Mechanical Buildings Services, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the contracted output specifications. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all PPM is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification and documented in real time using the PDA to log start/wait/stop completion and travel times with appropriate comments to evidence completion of work.
  • Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.
  • Complete supplementary documentation / E-Forms relating to the maintenance task as dictated by your line manager. 
  • Undertake servicing of Air conditioning equipment such as Split A/C, VRF systems, cold rooms and small chillers
  • Ensure all servicing records are available to meet F-Gas compliance including decanting or adding any refrigerant to the systems.
  • Assist the maintenance engineers with other PPM or reactive tasks when not undertaking AC related servicing

Qualifications or Required Experience
  • Apprenticeship in Air/Conditioning maintenance 
  • Formal recognised City and Guilds qualification or NVQ level 2 air conditioning & refrigeration
  • 5 years post qualification experience
  • PASMA & IPAF would be desirable 
  • IET 18th edition would be desirable 
  • Previous technical experience in a similar role 
  • Previous experience of using a CAFM system 
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
