Enthusiastic, ambitious and self-motivated individuals required for a Meter Reading position (Full training given) with one the UK’s largest and most respected Utility contractors. Working as a Meter reader your main responsibilities will be to carry out readings as well as safety checks on both Gas and Electric Meters.

You may have worked in customer services, delivery driving, gardening or may have been a postman/postwoman, but most importantly will have a great attitude, and don’t mind working outdoors.

Working 37.5 hours per week you will be paid £7.83 - £9.05 per hour (dependant on location), and you will need your own vehicle for which you will be paid a mileage allowance. On top of this is there is a generous bonus system in place where you can add bonus onto your weekly earnings. 

Due to the nature of the role you will need to pass a basic DBS check (at a cost of £25) whilst also being able to supply a 5-year work history.
