£40,000 + OTE
This MET Technician position has been created through the ongoing growth of one of the largest Accident Repair Centres who work in partnership with some of the UK's biggest car insurers to repair and service domestic and commercial vehicles.
The main responsibilities for the MET Technician will be:
- Removing and refitting parts to ensure body repairs are to a very high standard and to contribute to the overall production process. Working in partnership with repair consultants, production team and the site Production Lead.
Dismantle and rebuild vehicles as instructed
To report unseen damage absent from the Estimate as soon as it is identified
To assess tool and equipment requirements, and to report damaged or faulty equipment immediately
To make written and verbal reports on service and repair activity to the workshop controller in order to obtain authorisation
To complete all administrative procedures (including warranty) relating to service and repair work
To attend meetings and training programmes as and when required
To assist with training of other technicians
