We are currently recruiting for one of Formula 1's most successful and recognizable teams over the past 15 years, they have an immediate requirement for a Mechanical Design Engineer working on the current F1 power unit (so Catia is essential)
Person Requirement
We re looking for an experienced engineer who has worked previously across formula 1 ideally.
In addition to the above skills, experience in using 3D CAD design software (preferably CATIA) and key simulation/analysis packages is desired. Operating in a challenging, engineering-led mechanical engineering position is also preferred.
The successful candidate should demonstrate knowledge of engineering first principles applied across multiple applications. A minimum of a 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline is required.

3. Developing robust and versatile CAD models, including solids and surfaces, and providing engineering drawings to accompany design releases.

5. Writing test requests, reviewing results, and preparing technical reports.
6. Building strong working relationships with internal and external suppliers as an integral part of the engineering journey.
7. Championing best practices and procedures.
8. Collaborating effectively with inter-departmental teams, recognizing that teamwork is critical to success.
