Do you want to work for a company who have over 70 years within the Aerospace, Defence and Nuclear Power Refuelling industries. The company’s expertise lies in the production of value added complex fabricated and machined assemblies.
The manufacturing engineer is responsible for technical conformity of all products, providing technical documentation, introducing new capabilities while maintaining and developing Methods of Manufacture. Good working knowledge of Document control to include ECR, NDA, DAR, Concession, Data Card, SOP and CCW processes.
The successful candidate will have in depth knowledge of sheet meatal and/or machining production processes using material grades such as titanium’s, niamonics and stainless steels. We are also looking for someone with the ability to work in a team based environment. You must understand and communicate the technical & legislative elements associated with the area of responsibility and support internal and external audits.
Your role will involve working alongside Quality Engineering and operations to deliver right first-time product on time in full. You will be involved with other engineering disciplines to support New Product Introduction activities and will ensure new capabilities and methods of manufacture achieve the required level of readiness to enable buy off within the agreed time scale.
