We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Manual Turner for one of our leading Aerospace Technology engineering clients to join their team on a rolling contract. 

The role will involve the set up and operation of lathe machines in order to ensure the work allocated to the machine shop is completed to the required quality, accuracy, cost and timescale. In addition to this  you’ll carry out calculations, checking your own high standards of work and using a variety of precision measuring standards

You will need to have proven previous experience in a machine shop environment and ideally come from an Apprenticeship or Technical Qualification. You will be expected to be competent in setting up and using machine tools and confident in using precision measurement equipment.
