Maintenance Engineer

£34,000 weekdays and early Friday finish

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the company’s flagship site within their UK operations. This is a long-standing international company with 12 UK sites offering you career stability and long-term career progression at this site and within the wider business.

With the site growing and increasing to 24/7 production, they are looking for a multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join on a weekday shift with a 3pm early finish on a Friday.

This will be a slightly more mechanically biased position 60/40 in favour of mechanical maintenance. At the same time solid electrical knowledge and experience will be required to work with 3 phase equipment.

As Maintenance Engineer you be responsible for planned preventative and reactive maintenance within a high volume/ fast paced production environment covering all production equipment, facilities and utilities to ensure maximum availability, reliability and operational performance. 

Maintenance Engineer (Multi-skilled) Experience required:

• To be suitable, you will be a multiskilled maintenance engineer across mechanical and electrical maintenance.
• Previous work with conveyors, mixers, 3 phase equipment and motors will be ideal and further experience with welding and steam generation would be extremely advantageous.
• PLC / Control Systems experience is a plus but not essential.
• Hold relevant engineering qualifications
• 17^th Edition

Monday- Friday

Day Shifts

Salary: £32,000-34,000

Plus, overtime at 1.5 x weekdays/ Saturday

Double time on Sundays
