About the role:
- To participate in a rotating shift system in order to provide 24/7/365 service to the Leeds Oncology Wing
- To provide a customer facing highly responsive maintenance service to the Leeds Oncology Wing
- To undertake a range of minor repairs, cleaning and planned maintenance tasks and carry these out quickly and efficiently to a high standard
- To work with and assist other members of the maintenance team as required
- To maintain a clean, comfortable, visually pleasing environment within the Leeds Oncology Wing including the external + internal areas, courtyards, car park whilst also competent to carry out fire and smoke damper maintenance in the Leeds Oncology Wing
- Experience in carrying out similar role
- Have an understanding of the operational procedures and safe working practices applicable to the task
- Ability to undertake minor maintenance tasks without direct supervision
- Ability to work to pre agreed method statements designed to reduce the hazards associated with the task in hand
- Have a basic understanding of building services/ fabric
