Position Machinist (Honing, Lapping)

Length 12 Month fixed contract

Salary £16.50 p/h Ltd/Limited

This global company and leading supplier of integrated control systems for civil and military aircraft require a Diligent Lapper/ Honer Machinist due to its continued success and growth.

We are looking for candidates with strong experience of working to fine tolerances and experience of honing and lapping. Be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and have a minimum of three years aerospace or related industry experience.

The successful candidate has the opportunity be placed in a long-term contract with a key player in the aerospace sector and has the change to upskill their knowledge.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carry out precision machining duties with a variety of equipment
• Produce work to a high standard in line with aerospace standards
• Operate honing and lapping machines
• Undertake deburring duties
