A leading F1 company need a number of people to join their Trackside Logistics team to help coordinate the shipment and replenishment of a number of valuable components around the world. This opportunity is a rolling 12-month contract initially based in Northamptonshire but will include world travel and staying away from home.

Role Purpose
To coordinate Trackside Logistics requirements on site, at track as well as other worldwide shipments
To support and attend rotational trackside events to maintain relevant skill set
To organise taxis and freight to support the Transport requirements
To organise and manage the HPP Company cars fleet

Role Specific Accountabilities
To plan, prepare and facilitate all shipments on time worldwide of Trackside engines, parts & equipment
To manage the trackside-truck stock, leading replenishment stock levels from planning instruction.
To be responsible for the trackside shipments & equipment until point of delivery to and from HPP
To operate within the Known Consignment process & Guidelines
To prepare Dangerous Goods shipment to and from track
To arrange emergency shipments to and from track
To organise and manage the HPP Company cars fleet
To support the Transport Department, incl. weekend, holidays and sickness cover as required
To rotationally support with Sea freight equipment, restocking & documentation and off-season repair & maintenance of air and sea freight containers.
To support Race, test and demo trackside events (including some fly away and double header back to back races) as sole representative of MAMGHPP transport at trackside on a rotational basis
To contribute to Quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential
Good organizational skills
Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and SAP
Knowledge of Worldwide Logistics & Customs Import/Export regulations
Ability to demonstrate trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
Flexible working attitude, and some unsociable working hours are required at times
Problem solving

Desirable
Clean driving licence.
A basic understanding of engines and race cars construction
Knowledge of Trackside operations
Knowledge of Formula One Cargo process and trackside Operations
Experienced traveller

Fire Training
Dangerous Good by Road
Dangerous Good by Air
Known Consignor
Manual Handling
