Lead Engineer

£50,000-£55,000 + pension, life assurance, health care, 25days holiday.

A global designer and manufacturer of complex mechanical products with applications within the aerospace and motorsport sectors are currently looking to recruit a Lead Engineer on a permanent basis.

The successful engineer will be responsible for leading complex technical assignments or engineering programmes, acting as the focal point in support of design and analysis.Leading a team of 5+ direct reports, you will define engineering approaches / planning and work scheduling.

Focusing on NPD / NPI activities, you will be pivotal from concept through to introduction to mark.

Suitable candidates will be degree qualified, have NPI experience ideally working within an aerospace environment though other hydro-mechanical environments will also be considered.This is a supervisory role, so previous experience of managing / motivating a high performing team is critical.
