Lead Engineer

£45,000 - £55,000 + Pension, life assurance, 25 days holidays + bank holidays.

A Global Designer and manufacturer of complex components for the Aerospace industry currently require the services of a Lead Engineer on a permanent basis to support their current and future Programmes.

The successful Engineer will be responsible for leading complex technical engineering programmes, acting as the focal point for engineering activities.Leading a small multi-disciplinary team of up to 5 strong, you will act as the link between the customer and business.

You will define engineering approaches and planning, ensure successful completion of projects phases within budget and time, manage the preparation of appropriate documentation.

You will review technical feasibility of proposed solutions, support with problem solving and provide technical input into NPD.

Suitable candidates will be qualified to a min HND/C, you will have recent experience leading complex engineering projects ideally within the aerospace industry where you will have gained an understanding of Servo valves or similar products as well and strong hands on testing experience and manufacturing processes.
