Goods inwards inspector required for an engineering company in Northamptonshire. Circa £10:50 p/h PAYE or £13:82 via Umbrella.– this will be a contract to permanent position for the right person.

You will be supporting the goods inwards team,  You’ll be responsible for verifying the quality of bought-out parts delivered by the external supply base.

An goods inspector will be using gauging, visual verification, material testing and other inspection methods. Use of SAP to record stock movements and inspection results.   

Skills, Qualifications & Attributes:

• Relevant work-related experience within an engineering /  manufacturing environment.

• Clear understanding of importance of effective stock control

• Ability to read technical drawings and verify measurements using simple gauging techniques.
