We have a key engineering client looking for a Foundry Operative on a permanent basis based in Sandiacre, Derbyshire.

As a Foundry Operative you will have a salary of £21595 working a mix of days and nights. The weeks you work the night shift you receive a 33% shift increase.

As a Foundry Operative you will be trained in various job activities within the foundry. Ensure all safety training is undertaken and understood before commencing any job and ensure quality standards are met. Work within the foundry as an operative increasing skill level as training is given.

Duties of a Foundry Operative would include:

· Topping

· Core making

· Moulding

· Fettling

· Melting

· Casting

· Weights

Requirements of a Foundry Operative would be:

· Prior experience of Foundry processes desirable but not essential
