If you are an experienced Fleet Manager this is an ideal opportunity to join a rapidly expanding Rail company based in Staffordshire. They are currently seeking a Fleet Manager on a permanent basis as the company continues to expand and grow within the industry.

 

As a Fleet Manager you will be on a salary of up to £60000 per annum, working day shift Monday to Friday. This will also include a yearly performance bonus as well as other benefits.

                                                                            

As a Fleet Manager you will lead and manage two supervisors to deliver high quality, timely and cost-effective full-service maintenance provision. You will provide maintenance and planning support to Contract Maintenance and UK production.  To achieve local objectives as set by the Head of UK contract maintenance.  To work effectively and with a sense of urgency supporting others in the team.

 

As a Fleet Manager your role will include various tasks such as:

· Ensure that safety procedures are implemented and adhered to by the FSE team.

· Ensure that quality procedures are implemented and adhered to in locations where work is carried out, working closely with relevant management.

· Ensure any documentation (worksheets, release sheets, time sheets, reports, etc) are completed and presented on time.

· Ensure the FSE team carry out ‘In Process Checks’ to identify areas of continuous improvement.

· Provide support to our customer base including reasonable travel and overnight stays.

· Act as lead engineer for contracts, projects, or tasks as necessary to support our customer base.

· Contribute to the delivery of customer satisfaction.

 

Competencies Required

· Engineering Advanced Apprenticeship or equivalent experience.

· BTEC National Certificate /ONC in Engineering or European equivalent.

· Personal Track Safety

· Relevant experience gained in a similar position.

· Proven track record of working effectively with Diesel engineering technology, associated systems, and controls.
